The International Association of Bryologists (IAB) will be present at the International Botanical Congress (IBC) in Madrid this summer (21-27 July 2024). There will be two special IAB events:

• Tuesday July 23rd, 6PM: IAB Council meeting
• Thursday July 25th, 6PM: Friendly get-together for IAB members over tapas and an aperitif. The Hedwig Medal, the IAB award for outstanding contributions to bryology, will be presented this evening.

During the IBC Congress, there will be over 30 bryophyte-related talks presented by colleagues, members or not of IAB, in various symposia.
