Shuiliang Guo, is a Professor at the College of Life Sciences, Shanghai Normal University, China.
His research focuses mainly on the taxonomic revisions of the moss families Orthotrichaceae and Ptychomitriaceae, as well as the island biogeography of bryophytes.
He has served as the principal investigator for five National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and has published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers on bryophyte taxonomy, ecology, and biogeography.
