At the IAB meeting in Shenzhen in 2017, the council discussed ways to increase membership and in particular, strategies to enhance membership from countries with lower incomes. Countries of residence that would qualify members for a reduced rate is here drawn from the list of low or medium low income countries established by the World Bank (updated in 2017). The proposal would be to offer an annual membership rate of $8.00 USD (50% of the standard dues) to IAB members from the following countries.
The proposal is to apply this two-tiered membership rate starting January 2018.
