International Association of Bryology IAB -DRAFT2

The International Association of Bryologists (IAB) is an organization established in 1969 at the XI International Botanical Congress in Seattle, Washington, U.S.A. The aim of the organization is to promote international cooperation and communication among all persons interested in the biology of bryophytes. This is achieved through sponsorship and arrangement of meetings and symposia that relate to the various aspects of bryology, and by IAB-sponsored publications including The Bryological Times and Bryophyte Diversity and Evolution. The Association also supports the publication of reviews, lists, software, and compendia.


Announcement of IAB virtual meeting 2023

The International Association of Bryologists hold a virtual biennial meeting on 13 and 14 December 2023 (New York Time zone). The meeting was split over two half days. Over 300 bryologists registered for the conference. A success.
